Deomina (Dee) Martin is a birth doula who serves Augusta Ga and the surrounding areas. Dee is a mother of one amazing 6 year old son. She has a background in health and science and Seven years of experience in brain and spinal cord injury. Her journey to assist in the birth world was something that she has always wanted to do. It wasn't until she had her own experience with the birth of her son that she decided to serve mothers and their families. After researching and realizing that her community was in need of support, Dee became a member of DONA International and enrolled in a birth doula class. She received a certificate of completion and is currently achieving a certification. In 2018, her birth service business Luminous Wombs LLC was created. Deomina is planning to expand her education background in Midwifery to further support her community.

My vision as a birth worker is to create a peaceful atmosphere, while offering support and education to "MAMAz" all over the CSRA.”  Deomina believes you should never give up on what was yours from the beginning.
